Figure 8 is my independently created 2D animated music video. The story follows the friendship between two childhood best friends which becomes strained as they grow up.

Hi, I’m Josiah!
Telling stories has always been my favorite thing to do. I’ve been drawing cartoons since I could hold a pen and writing before I knew how to even type properly. The way I think and live has always been shaped by stories, from growing up on Pixar to the joy of watching Arcane for the first time.
My dream has always been to create stories that have a positive impact on others, which has led to my becoming a story artist. I love the challenge of translating a script to the screen - my goal is to not only visually do the script justice, but to make the whole story more compelling than it was before.
I want to bring the visions of others to life by creating something novel, meaningful and of course fun to look at.
